Sci-fi fan faces sentencing for "idiotic, stupid" 3D printing of guns

Known as Steven, the 28-year-old is the first person in Australia to face sentencing for the possession of a “digital blueprint” of a 3D printed firearm. The law was introduced in New South Wales in 2015 and carries a maximum penalty of 14 years' jail.
